Description
This 2018 GMC Savana van was conversion to 4x4 in 2021-2022. It had approximately 34,000 when the conversion was done. I used an OEM Chevy transfer case fully refurbished and Ford Platinum F250 axles. These are a 3.73 gear ratio and a factory rear locker. Replaced the OEM auto hubs with manual Warn hubs. The axles came out of a 2014 F250 platinum that had approximately 70,000 miles on it. I built this for longevity and simplicity. I wanted something that would last 300,000 miles but still have the axle strength to get off road. This is why I avoided the IFS front Chevy axle that the Quigley conversion vans like to run. The front and rear bumpers are custom welded low profile. Rigid backup lights in the rear bumper and 10,000 lb Smittybilt winch up front. Trailer receiver hitches installed on both front and rear. You can put a bicycle rack off the front bumper and still pull a trailer from the back. This has been a great and reliable van. I've enjoyed owning it and don't want to sell it but it doesn't make sense for me for a camping vehicle with the size of my family now and also doesn't make the best work van for what I'm currently doing. This gets a lot of compliments around town. similar to a Chevy Express6 liter LS engine 341hp,
