In Solid 14 Karat Gold, these Vintage Art Deco Era Cufflinks by the Renowned firm of Krementz have it All!  The contrasting color combo of gleaming yellow and white gold is stunning and the dynamic patterns engraved in the centers create loads of movement and texture.  The geometric design of parallel lines alternates closely spaced rows with single wider lines, all so deeply engraved they appear carved.  The transfixing design fairly shimmies, undulating like an escalator across the centers of the links, dancing with movement in the play of light.  Surrounding this are sloping, slightly recessed bands of white gold that are engraved with U shapes and stippling all around, setting off the faces and adding interest.  And as if that weren't enough, the edges are in yellow gold, further framing the links, giving them a finished look, like a painting.  (Apologies for the poor photos; these cufflinks are MUCH nicer in person!)
Highly detailed and richly textured, with the contrasting colors of gleaming gold and the intricate designs, these vintage Krementz 14 Karat gold cufflinks are truly Spectacular.
Slightly convex, the octagons measure about 9/16" across, point to point.  They weigh in at 8.7 grams.
They are signed on both figure 8 connector findings "14K" for gold content along with what looks like a fish hook or back to back J's, the early mark for Krementz & Co., which has long been highly regarded for their gold jewelry and cuff links.
Substantial and well-made, these links are in Very Good / Excellent vintage condition with just expected surface dirt and scratches.  There is a little patina or tarnish due to age and they have a lovely vintage patina; cleaning and polishing are left to the buyer's discretion.  Absolutely no flaws of consequence and these cufflinks are Fabulous.
