Ceramic/Stoneware Tureen. Shades of blue/grey with darker color motif. Decorative handles. Self lid. Has Asian wood stand thus seller believes this is an item from China or Japan. Stamp on base but cannot decipher. Measures 6.25" to top lid know - 7.75" on stand. 8.50" across to edge of handles. This is a very unusual item. Please view pics. to see close up. Appears to be in a new unused condition.
