Our Lady appeared to  Pierina Gilli in Italy in 1947. The first “grand” apparition happened on July 13, 1947. As noted in Pierina's diary, the Blessed Virgin Mary was accompanied by the Blessed Sister Mary Crucified of the Rose; and Our Lady appeared in a splendidly different manner: in a white dress and with a white cape around her head that reached to the floor; the three swords were on the floor, and on the chest of the Virgin were three roses: one white, one red, and one gold.
This beautiful Bookmark is based on a real photo of the statue of Mary from Germany. The statue was used as a template but the image has been completely altered and redesigned.  This bookmark has been digitally designed and handcrafted in the United States. The statue of Mary has been redesigned to offer a unique look. Pictured here Mary is shown with humming birds and a beautiful lily flower background. This bookmark has been designed to honor the Mother of Jesus and to glorify God through veneration of Her.
The back of the bookmark offers the feast day and a quote from Mary from this apparition.
The bookmark size is 2 inches wide by 7 inches long (2in x 7in). It comes with a looped Suede Velvet Leather string that matches the design. The string can be easily removed by unlooping. Bookmark is laminated to extend its use and to make it cleanable. It is beautifully designed and unlike any other bookmark of Mary under this title. String colors are usually blue for Mary but may vary depending on availability.

Please note that due to the recent increase in shipping costs we had to increase the prices of our bookmarks. However, we are now offering these bookmarks in a thicker 5 mil laminate which is much more durable to offset the increase in price. We also round the corners which further prolongs their life.
