    Description

Vintage 1950s Modernist EARL PARDON Sterling Silver FACE Money Clip or Tie Bar. Most likely a tie bar, but could be used as a money clip with a few bills folded twice. The design is unusual and appear to be a face with an eyeball and a mouth cut out from the end. Measures 1.5" by 3/8". This hallmark is from the 1950s when Earl was experimenting with hallmarks. There are three different marks here, the Pardon cursive mark that he stuck with over the years, the sterling hallmark, and a circle which Tod Pardon believes he used for a very short period of time in the early to mid 1950s.
